1. Bloomfield College
Bloomfield College is one of the best colleges that accept students with below-average grades in New Jersey.
Their minimum GPA requirement is 2.69 on a 4.0 scale. You need to meet other requirements to be eligible for admission into this college.
SAT or ACT scores, TOEFL scores (for international students), two letters of recommendation, an official high school transcript, and official GMAT scores (for masters in accounting) are required.
2. New Jersey Institute of Technology
With a low GPA 3.59, you can get into the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Most people will say this is too high, but this is around the average grade in high school.

3. Felician University
You can be a B-average student and still gain admission to study your favorite course at Felician College since their GPA requirement is pegged at 3.1, although you still need some A’s.
The cost of tuition after financial aid at Felician College is affordable, and their acceptance rate is very high (96%). They also have more than 60 accredited courses to pick from.
You must still submit your GED or high school transcript, Letter of recommendation (optional), and your completed application.
4. Kean University
Being one of the largest metropolitan institutions of higher education in New Jersey, Kean University offers a world-class education at a price you can afford.
With a GPA as low as 3.0, your chances of gaining admission into this college are very high. You still need a minimum SAT score of 920 or an ACT score of 19 for admission.
Complete your application form, pay the compulsory application fee, and submit the required documents, and you are good to go.
5. Saint Peter’s University
This may be a little higher than the ones we previously talked about. Applicants need a minimum GPA of 3.29 for Saint Peter’s University in 2024.

6. Fairleigh Dickinson University
FDU is a private non-profit university located in Madison, New Jersey. You are eligible for admission with a GPA of 3.39, provided you meet the other requirements.
Applying early gives you an application fee waiver, FDU scholarship, renewable FDU grant, etc. Apart from GPA, you must submit your standardized test scores, essays or recommendation letters, and transcripts for the optional interview.
